About me

I am an Associate Professor of Finance at the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, Norway

My research is focused on how personal and firms’ incentives affect financial decisions and how contracts are used to shape these incentives. My work covers Venture Capital, Private Equity, Bonds and Asset Management.

My teaching is focused on Private Equity, M&A and Corporate Finance in general. I teach both in NHH’s master and executive program.

Short Bio

I joined the Norwegian School of Economics in 2006 as an Assistant Professor and received tenure as an Associate Professor in 2009. I hold a Diploma in Economics from Eberhardt Karls University Tübingen and a doctorate in Finance from Goethe University Frankfurt. Prior to coming to NHH, I spent a year as a post-doc at the London School of Economics from 2005-2006.
